In the heart of Cape Town's "protected" area, there lies a bit of New
York City.
The complex called Manhattan Place was
designed by architects who visited
New York. They copied the aspects which made the New York lofts so
special.
We have one
of the nicest and most "traditional" lofts in the building.
The arrow below shows the general location of
the "Manhattan Place" Lofts.

The building offers the
following amenities:
- Secure entrance ( manned by 24hr guard ) & dial-up intercom (for quests to
use).
- Secure indoor parking ( we have a spot that is easy to get in
& out of ).
- Swimming pool and well-maintained common areas.
- Loft-style; three-levels which feels open and spacious.
- View of the Harbor and Table Bay; even Table Mountain through a skylight!
- Within the safe downtown area; very close to restaurants & entertainment.
The loft is situated on the top (10th) floor;
there are also smaller lofts on the 9th floor. The lower floors
of the building hold offices and hotel rooms (Cape Town Lodge).

The loft is a top-level penthouse, 140 sq. meters, and laid out over three
levels. It faces north for great harbor views and warm sunshine during
winter. The middle floor set
up as a bedroom. The
top floor is used as an office, but it could become an additional bedroom.
The bottom (entry level) contains the kitchen, dining, and living areas; this
level
also has the capability for accommodating guests.
The following pictures show what the loft has to offer :

Table Mountain can be seen from the
Skylight!
|
|
Overall the loft is very comfortable and is situated in one of the most
sought-after buildings in Cape Town; Manhattan Place. The building is secure, well-maintained,
and well-managed. It is located in an extremely exciting and entertaining
area of
Cape Town; the area is part of the "protected zone" and is often patrolled.
